God leads, We commit!

Good morning!

The things that get me excited now are so interesting. I bet most of you think a new pair of high heels is at the top o my brain hahaha :)

Ok, yeah that too.

But, the other day I had this strong feeling that I should text a friend and ask if she wanted to participate in a beginner's Bible study. I didn't know why it was such a huge pressing on me but I've learned to just take that as an indication that God is talking to me.

I got back a response quickly saying that she felt like God told me to reach out to her because she has been looking for exactly that. Even her sister had told her to reach out to me but she hadn't yet.

Part of my original hesitation is that my jaw limits how long I can talk without pain. However, I believe God will make a way for me to talk less and listen more. Stepping forward to do what He wants me to do and trusting He will provide the tools and abilities is all I need to concern myself with right now. And it gets me so excited!

"For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him." 2 Chronicles 16:9a

I don't always feel or act fully committed but as I keep moving more and more toward His simple commands and promises to lead, I am definitely straightened.

He does that for each and every one of us!
