God Operates in the Natural (it's all Natural to Him!)

Good morning!

Walking in the Spirit is interesting. There becomes a bristling inside when you are tripping in any way. It's like a guiding force that you are subtlety aware of and it feels supernatural.

I was listening to a message yesterday and the pastor said that we often operate in the natural with occasional steps into the supernatural. But God always operates in the natural. Pause.....smile :) Yes, to God, it is all natural. Divine power is natural to Him and He wants us to line up with that.

His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, 2 Peter 1:3

When we stay in step with the Spirit, we naturally know the path to take. If we get close to stumbling, we have that holy hand to steady us. If we are confused about where to step, His steps show us. We just have to look at where He is walking. The way to see where He is walking is to read His Word and pray.

For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

Right now I am finding that God is leading me on the path alone. My nature is to ask for other's opinions and get validation from people I know and trust. But, I believe He, at times, wants to be our only validation. If what you hear or sense is from Him, it will always line up with Scripture. You do not need validation from people because they may not have heard what God said to you in the Secret Place where it's just you and God in conversation. People often mean well, but they aren't hearing what you are hearing for your life most of the time. There are definitely times that God uses people to say and send the right message at the right time, but I also believe we have to pursue Him so deeply that all our validation comes from Him!

I am so blessed by the affirmations I get from all of you, and I don't want any of those to stop! But, I'm just conveying a truth that I believe God wants to instill in us as we learn to walk according to His Spirit. He gives godly counsel from trusted friends and I believe we need that. But, it is also very liberating to get all you need to move forward from His Spirit!

Thank You, holy Lord, for taking us on this path of life with You!
