Bold Adventures

Boldness in faith. I have it but then when I feel my borders being stretched, I get that little trepidation inside.

"Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes" Isaiah 54:2

As I journaled about this next season of my life, I definitely know God is stretching my borders with On Fire Fit. When I balk at the idea due to my long-standing jaw pain, I am reminded that Moses had a mouth problem (stuttering), Abraham had to leave before he knew where he was going, and David spent a lot of time as shepherd before he became king.

By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. Hebrews 11:8

It's not like God chooses the people in the world who have all they need to accomplish His purpose! Look all throughout the Bible and you see that. He even picked Paul out when he was persecuting Christians and made him an icon of faith.

So, I have agreed to the commission God gave me to be more bold and to allow Him to stretch my borders. I will be doing On Fire Fit with more intensity and trust that He will take me where I need to go. I just need the faith and the obedience to go.

Each of us is asked by God whether we will trust what we see or what we do not see. Each of us is commissioned to deliver hope to the world. Are you willing to be bold and take the adventure?

Proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance. Acts 28:31
