Firestorm Hope

Good Morning!

Do you feel like you are bubbling over with hope?Or, do you feel downtrodden, heavy, and defeated?

I’ve been reading through my past emails from 2015 while we still were living in the hotel because of the water damage at our home.During the summer I’ve tried to spend some time writing and reviewing past writings.I came across this topic and it got me excited all over again.

“May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope.” Romans 15:13

At the time I was reading a devotion and the author said “hope is a nothing-is-impossible-with-God-firestorm refusing to be quenched.It’s an awareness that God is actually expecting, looking and longing to show you His goodness.Hope is what stabilizes your frantic thoughts and emotions---it’s an awareness that there is no problem big enough to keep God from rescuing you.”

As I walking and praying yesterday, I was reminded that the times that we lose hope or go off track come in subtle and sneaky ways.If Satan was standing there plain as day for us to see, we’d run to God and dig our heels in and tell Satan to go to hell (my friend says that’s the only time we can use that phrase lol).

But he doesn’t come in obvious ways.He comes in sneaky and subtle ways.He uses our own insecurities, the things that he knows have caused us to trip in the past and whatever he can to take us ever-so-slowly down the wrong path.When we finally look up and see where we are, we wonder how in the world we got here!

Praise God that He leads us back, calls us back and never gives up on us.He fills us with new hope like a firestorm and He shows us what we need to get back on track!

Let God fill YOU with His firestorm of hope!
